For owners · Founding pre-sale
Write down how you decide, yourself.
Out of Your Head is a self-serve course for owners. In eight modules you write down how you decide, not only the steps, in short notes your team and an AI can ask. Fifteen minutes a morning keeps them true. Founding pre-sale: $297 until the last module is recorded, then $497, with a 30-day refund.

$297 $497 founding price
This course is being built now. Join the founding list to hold the founding price and shape what it covers.
Joining the founding list holds the $297 price; nothing is charged today. Refunds go through the form on completions.io, up to 30 days after the last module is released.
If this sounds like your week
- Your team runs every little thing past you: whether to refund, whether a proposal is ready, how a client likes their reports, who approves what.
- You answer the same questions for different people every week, and the work you meant to do waits.
- When someone leaves, what they knew leaves with them.
- When you are ill or away, decisions wait for you to come back.
What you do now, and where it stops working
You spent weekends writing SOPs, built a wiki or recorded screen videos, and nobody used any of it. An SOP holds the steps, not the line you draw, the exceptions you make or why, so the team reads it, reaches the part that needs judgment, and asks you.
What changes after the course
- When someone asks "can we refund this client?", your answer is already written down, with your reason.
- Your team asks in plain words and gets your answer with the name of the note it came from.
- The calls that should stay with you are written down as yours, so the team knows which ones they are.
- You run your own Friday Test: your team asks 20 questions you sealed, and you score the answers.
How it works: the Seedling System
- 1Capture. Everything lands in one inbox, fast: a voice memo, a forwarded Slack answer, a note from the team.
- 2Garden. Fifteen minutes each morning tidying what came in: keep it or drop it, give it a kind, fill the gaps. This is what stops it going stale.
- 3Connect. One idea per note, each one kind (a decision, a process, a client), linked to the notes around it: a process links to the decision at each fork.
- 4Delegate: your team asks the system, not you. An AI reads the notes and answers with the note it came from. When it does not know, you answer once, and that answer becomes the next note.
What you get
- The company vault: seven note templates, a table for each, the inbox and the daily garden note
- The Question Log
- The decision interview card and the voice-memo workflow
- The data rules worksheet
- The morning checklist and the weekly card for the person who keeps it tidy
- The AI instructions and garden prompts
- The "How to ask" card for your team
- The Friday Test kit and scorecard
- The 30-day plan
- A video lesson for every module, and the recorded founding Q&As
This is for you if
- You own the business, and your team runs every question past you.
- You want to write down how you decide yourself, before or instead of having it built with you.
- You can give about an hour a week to answering your own decision questions.
Skip it if
- You want a personal note-taking course. The free Seedling Starter Vault is the better start.
- You want an AI tool installed over your existing drive.
- You would rather have someone ask the questions and write while you talk. That is the Decision Week.
Before you join
- Is this not all online for free?
- Most of the method is, and Jay teaches it free on YouTube. The course is the build, in order, with the templates, the interview card, the Friday Test kit and the founding Q&As. If the free video is enough, use it.
- Can my judgment be written down at all?
- Not in general. Nobody can do that. You can answer one question from your log, and say why. The decision interview in Module 3 does that, one question at a time, by voice memo.
- Who keeps it up to date? It cannot be a second full-time job.
- Fifteen minutes a morning for you, and 30 minutes a week for one person on your team. The AI lists what is stale or missing. If 15 minutes a day is too much, the notes will go stale, and Module 5 says so.
- Will an AI read our confidential client data?
- Only what you allow. Module 2 has you write your data rules before anything goes in: what never enters, for example HR files, pay, client passwords, or anything a client contract forbids.
- How does the founding pre-sale work?
- The course is being recorded now. Founding buyers pay $297 and get each module as it is recorded, with a live Q&A after each one, and their questions shape what gets recorded. When the last module is recorded, the price becomes $497. This course is new; there are no student results to show yet.
