Tier 3 — Marketing Systems Operations

Someone to keep your marketing systems running and improving after they are built.

AI agents and marketing integrations do not stay working on their own. Output drifts, vendors change, and the person who built it moves on. This engagement is one to two days a week of operating and improving that machinery, while your own team keeps owning the marketing.

6-month minimum. 1-2 days per week. You own every artifact. 30-day termination either side.

What it covers

The operating work, not the marketing decisions

Monitoring

Every agent and integration reports whether it ran and whether its output passed its checks. Failures surface the same day rather than at month end.

Fixing and tuning

When an output drifts off-brand, a vendor changes an API, or a rule stops fitting reality, I fix it and record why.

Evaluation

Each agent has a set of real examples it is graded against. The set grows with every mistake caught, so the same mistake cannot ship twice.

Change

Adding a new agent, retiring one that does not earn its place, or connecting a new data source, sequenced so nothing in production breaks.

A monthly write-up

What ran, what broke, what was fixed, and what is recommended next, written for the person who owns the marketing rather than for an engineer.

Before you decide

See the way of working first

The method is visible rather than asserted: the portfolio shows each piece of work with what was measured, and a public system built and run solo shows the same practice running in production.

Terms

One or two days a week, six-month minimum

$15,000-25,000 per month at 1-2 days per week. After six months it is month-to-month. Thirty days notice either side, and you keep everything produced to date. One or two engagements at a time, alongside a day job, so the start window is stated on the first call.

Smaller starting points

If nothing is built yet

Tier 1 · Diagnostic

Marketing Operations Audit (2-3 weeks)

A defined-scope look at where time and money are leaking, and which few fixes would pay back first. Ends with a written plan.

Tier 2 · Build

Marketing Systems Build Sprint (4-8 weeks)

Builds the first systems and puts them into production, with a short support period afterwards. Tier 3 is what keeps them running after that.

Frequently asked

What do you actually do, day to day?
Keep the systems your marketing runs on working and getting better. That means monitoring the agents and integrations, fixing what breaks, tuning prompts and rules when output drifts, keeping the evaluation checks current, and adding or retiring pieces as your needs change. Your marketing team decides what to say and where to spend; I make sure the machinery under those decisions is reliable.
Where does the way of working come from?
From operating the systems behind a multi-location retail marketing organisation day to day, and from the lab this site documents.
How does ownership work?
You own every artifact: code, prompts, configurations, agent specifications, integrations, evaluation sets, dashboards and documentation. Nothing is held back to make you dependent, and the hand-over is written down as part of the work.
Why a six-month minimum?
Systems like these settle over a few months: the first month surfaces what actually breaks, the next few tune it. A shorter engagement tends to end just as the useful work starts. After six months it moves to month-to-month, and the goal is that your own team can run it without me.
What if we need to end it early?
Thirty days notice either side, no penalty. You keep everything produced to date.
