Recommendation · Multi-location operators and franchise marketing leads
Which call-tracking platform should a multi-location operator use?
For almost every multi-location operation under a few hundred locations, CallRail: per-location tracking numbers, a missed-call webhook the moment a call is not answered, and integrations with every booking and CRM system on this site. Past a few hundred locations, or with a contact-centre floor, CallTrackingMetrics or Invoca earn their price.
None of the links below currently pays us. If that changes, the button will say so. The recommendation is the same either way.
What decides it
- · A webhook on every missed call — ring-no-answer, busy, abandoned, after-hours — not a nightly report
- · One number per location, provisioned in your name, portable if you leave
- · Call recording and transcription per location for coaching and disputes
- · Integrations with the booking system and CRM you already run

Frequently asked
- Do I need call tracking if my phone system already reports missed calls?
- Only if you want the missed call to trigger something. Phone-system reports tell you on Monday what you missed; a tracking webhook tells a recovery loop at the moment it happens. If nothing will act on the event, the report is enough.
- Who owns the numbers?
- You do, provided the account is opened in your name — which is the only way we recommend doing it. Numbers opened under an agency account are the most common reason a location loses its phone number when the agency is replaced.
- Are you paid if I sign up?
- Where we are enrolled in a vendor’s partner programme, yes, and the link says so beside the button. The scale rule above does not change with the commission.
