Cross-Domain Data Integration Engine
Unify marketing + operations + financial data into one queryable joined dataset per location. Multi-source ingestion + schema reconciliation + identity stitching + cross-domain query interface. The foundation layer for measurement, attribution, churn forecasting, and ROI defensibility.

01 · The problem
Why cross-domain data integration engine exists.
Your marketing, ops, and financial data live in disconnected systems — marketing automation, POS, ERP, GBP, CRM — with no join keys. The basic cross-domain question is unanswerable: "did the GBP photo refresh at location 247 drive any of the Q3 same-store sales lift?" CFO ROI debates remain unwinnable. Ops vs marketing arguments persist. Enterprise CDPs handle customer identity but not ops/financial integration. Snowflake or BigQuery require analyst headcount + weeks of integration work. Cross-domain measurement at multi-loc SMB price points is whitespace.
02 · Desired result
What success looks like.
Joined dataset per location combining marketing + ops + financial signals. SQL-compatible query interface for downstream measurement + attribution SKUs. Identity stitching across PII-light sources with privacy-safe modeling. Join-quality monitoring catches degradation before measurements turn unreliable. Foundational data layer that every downstream SKU consumes.
03 · How we get there
The 5-step approach.
- 1
Build multi-source ingestion adapters across marketing automation + POS + ERP + GBP + CRM
- 2
Define schema reconciliation + join-key generation (location ID + time bucket + customer ID)
- 3
Deploy identity stitching layer (deterministic + probabilistic)
- 4
Expose cross-domain SQL query interface for downstream consumers
- 5
Wire join-quality anomaly detection + monitoring

05 · Who buys this
When this engagement fits.
Multi-location franchise or retail CMO who cannot answer cross-domain questions — "did the GBP photo refresh at location 247 drive any of the Q3 same-store sales lift?" CFO ROI debates unwinnable; ops vs marketing arguments persist; cross-domain queries impossible without engineering analyst weeks. Data lives in disconnected systems (marketing automation, POS, ERP, GBP, CRM) with no join keys.
06 · Where vendors fall short
Status-quo tooling gap.
Enterprise CDPs (Segment, mParticle) handle customer-side identity but rarely extend into ops/financial systems. Snowflake/BigQuery require analyst headcount to build joins. Reverse-ETL vendors (Hightouch, Census) handle output activation but not the joining layer. No vendor productizes the cross-domain joining infrastructure at multi-loc franchise SMB price points.
07 · The AI capability we add
What the AI swarm does that vendors do not.
- Multi-source ingestion adapters across marketing automation, POS, ERP, GBP, CRM
- Schema reconciliation across heterogeneous source systems
- Join-key generation (location ID + time bucket + customer ID where available)
- Identity stitching across PII-light sources with privacy-safe modeling
- Cross-domain query interface for downstream measurement + attribution SKUs
- Join-quality anomaly detection — flag when source-system data quality degrades
08 · What we deliver
Engagement scope — 8 weeks.
- Cross-domain data integration engine productizing primitive 9
- Per-location join-key infrastructure
- Identity stitching layer (deterministic + probabilistic)
- Cross-domain query interface (SQL-compatible)
- Join-quality monitoring + alerting
- Schema documentation + data dictionary
- 30-day operating tail with weekly tuning
What's included
- Marketing automation integration (1-2 vendors)
- POS integration (1 vendor)
- ERP integration (1 vendor)
- GBP API integration
- CRM integration (1 vendor)
- Analyst training on the query interface (2 sessions, 60 min each)
What's not included
- Data warehouse vendor procurement (we work with your existing Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Per-source data cleanup (we work with what your source systems contain; cleanup is a separate engagement)
- Custom downstream BI dashboards (we provide the joined dataset; BI consumers connect via SQL)
09 · Common questions
Frequently asked.
- Do we need a data warehouse already?
- Strongly preferred. Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift work equally well. If you do not have a data warehouse, the engagement includes setup of a baseline Snowflake instance — but be aware the warehouse itself carries ongoing infrastructure cost beyond our engagement.
- What about CDP vendors like Segment?
- Segment and mParticle handle customer identity well — they would not be displaced. We handle the cross-domain joining that sits beyond customer identity (joining customer data to ops and financial data). Buyers running Segment + needing cross-domain integration typically keep both.
- Is this dual-status as primitive + SKU?
- Yes. This is the productization of primitive 9 (cross-domain data-joining) from the strategic IP framework. The same capability underlies measurement SKUs like per-location benchmarking and attribution SKUs like walk-in attribution. Buyers can engage this SKU as foundational infrastructure before adding downstream consumers.
